Action for Community and Development Network (ACDN)
Action for Community and Development Network (ACDN) is a non-governmental and non-partisan organization founded in 2015 in Kabul, Afghanistan, and subsequently registered in North York, Ontario, Canada. Our headquarters will soon be established in Michigan, USA, further expanding our global presence. ACDN is committed to fighting poverty and reaching some of the poorest and most remote communities in Afghanistan, where people face extreme deprivation and lack access to education. Our mission is to drive sustainable and transformative improvements in the quality of life for these communities, earning their trust and respect through impactful initiatives.

In addition to our work in Afghanistan, ACDN actively provides settlement services in Canada and raises funds to support refugees in Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Pakistan. Our programs focus particularly on women, their families, and individuals affected by war and persecution. ACDN has proudly welcomed newcomers from across the globe, including Central Asia, the Middle East, South Asia, East Asia, Eastern Europe, and Africa, guiding them through the initial stages of settlement.

From finding housing and employment to learning English and navigating Canadian legal and healthcare systems, we guide newcomers through the crucial first steps toward a successful life in Canada.
Our dedicated staff and volunteers go above and beyond to ensure that isolated women and seniors actively participate in community programs, including English language classes and social events. ACDN is committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment for all newcomers. Our programs help individuals understand Canadian systems, laws, and safety while offering supervised field trips and recreational activities to aid their integration.
